Music has always been one of the most important
parts of my life. Although I cannot actually play, I identify
myself through the sounds I hear and surround myself with.
I had given up on music for a while. I had nothing new, nothing that had
stirred my soul, so to speak. I waited for the new Pearl Jam,
but even it fell short. Old favorite's were doing nothing for me. Then
I got a copy of Moist's new CD, Creature. And I was resurrected.
Buy the CD, listen to Ophelia, listen to the guitar chords in the background
and tell me that they don't hit somepart of your brain that
was asleep. Dramatic? Perhaps, I am an Arts major after all.
This page will eventually become a Moist info center, if all goes
as I plan. I don't want this to be a "pin-up" page, there's more to this band
than a "hot" lead singer. With Alanis and Donna Lewis on the radio and internet,
there's enough bullshit floating around out there without me adding to it.
And so, I'll leave this for now, an unfinished work.
I take my leave, with promises for the future......
